Are you ready to make this awesome Pumpkin Spiced Latte?

What ingredients do you need to make this Keto Pumpkin Spiced Latte?
- espresso (or coffee)
- almond milk
- heavy cream (or full-fat coconut milk from a can)
- canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- vanilla liquid stevia (I use Sweet Drops)
- pumpkin pie spice

What's the difference between espresso and coffee?
The difference between coffee and espresso has to do with the method of preparation, starting with the beans themselves. Coffee beans designated for espresso are generally roasted for a longer amount of time than beans meant for drip coffee. Espresso beans are also ground on the finer side, more like sand than gravel
For this recipe, either drink will work. Obviously, using coffee will have a more mellow flavour than using espresso.

What if I don't have vanilla liquid stevia?
You can usually find Sweet Drops Vanilla Liquid Stevia at most grocery stores or on Amazon.
You can always replace liquid stevia with your favourite sugar substitute and then add a splash of imitation vanilla.
If you don't have any imitation vanilla, you can simply eliminate the vanilla altogether.
What if I don't want to make Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice?
You can easily buy pumpkin pie spice at any grocery store.

What can I substitute the heavy cream with to make this Keto Pumpkin Spiced Latte dairy-free?
You can replace the heavy cream with coconut cream.
To get the coconut cream to separate from the liquid in a can of coconut milk, simply place the can in the fridge until it has chilled. The cream will naturally separate from the water so you can just scoop out the coconut cream to add to your drink.
I have also replaced the heavy cream with coconut oil which also adds an additional level of creaminess to the latte.

How do I make the frothy top layer of this latte?
You can either use a milk frother or you can simply place all the latte ingredients in a high-speed blender.
If you want to use your high-speed blender, simply add all the ingredients (they have to be hot when you add them) into your high-speed blender (I use my Vitamix) and withing 10 seconds, I end up with a deliciously frothy drink!

Tips, Tricks and Substitutions:
- use regular milk or any other type of milk product or milk substitute for the almond milk
- use full-fat coconut milk from a can or coconut oil instead of the heavy cream
- add 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to make a Pumpkin Mocha Latte
- add any type of sweetener or regular sugar
- sweeten the drink to your liking
