Since my 4 Ingredient Cannoli Dip (Low Carb, Keto) was such a huge hit on my blog, I decided to try my hand at yet another dip. With strawberries, blackberries, cherries, peaches and nectarines in full abundance, I decided to try and create this delicious Salted Peanut Butter Dip that would be the perfect accompaniment to these fruits.
I debated about making a chocolate recipe but decided that it would be too much like a fondue. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE fondue but with it being over 90 degrees outside, the thought of a pot full of bubbling chocolate even made me, a self-declared chocoholic cringe at the idea.
Opening up every cupboard and pantry door (this is honestly how I get my inspiration!), my eyes fell on a huge jar of peanut butter.
THAT'S IT!!!! SALTED PEANUT BUTTER DIP!
Since my 4 Ingredient Cannoli Dip (Low Carb, Keto) was so easy to make, I decided to follow that recipe and simply add some peanut butter to the mixture.
With a little tweaking here and there, I managed to create the perfect summer fruit dip that is not only easy to make but will be fun to enjoy with your whole family!
How to make Salted Peanut Butter Dip
Step 1: Prepare the ricotta
- Drain your ricotta using a nut bag or some cheesecloth. For detailed instructions and photos, follow my Cannoli Dip recipe but do not add the chocolate chips.
Step 2: Add the peanut butter
- Take 6 oz of peanut butter (about ¾ cup) and add it to the ricotta and process until fully incorporated.
- Since peanut butter varies in terms of their level of saltiness and sweetness, feel free to taste the dip and add any additional sweetener or salt.
- Place the dip in the fridge until ready to serve.
Step 3: Cut up the fruit
- Chop a variety of fruit such as nectarines, strawberries, peaches, pears, apples and bananas. Serve alongside the dip.

Salted Peanut Butter Fruit Dip (Keto)
Simply combining ricotta, sweetener, peanut butter and vanilla, this dip is made in seconds. Serve with some low carb fruit for a deliciously easy summer dessert.
- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 22 1x
Ingredients
- 16 oz strained whole milk ricotta cheese
- 6 oz peanut butter (or other nut or seed butter of choice)
- ¼-½ cup sweetener
- ½-1 tablespoon vanilla
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Strain the ricotta. Place all ingredients in food processor. Process until smooth. Taste and adjust salt or sweetness to your like.
- Place in fridge until ready to serve. Serve with cut up fruit such as nectarines, peaches, strawberries, pears, apples and bananas.
Notes
- For my sweetener, I almost filled the entire half cup with Swerve confectioner and topped the remaining with Lakanto Golden.
- Nut and seed butters vary A LOT from brand to brand so start off with less sweetener and salt and ajust to suit your taste.

Nice idea! I know i am not thinking about chocolate (as much) in the summer. This came out very creamy and was great with strawberries. Thanks for another amazing recipe.
