Who says you can't be macho and follow a Whole30, Paleo, healthy lifestyle? These nachos were created for the man in my life, Mr. Grumbles!
For those of you who don't know, Mr. Grumbles is my husband. He is a ridiculously hard worker and a caring and loving husband. So why the nickname? Well, he has a tendency to "grumble" under his breath when I attempt to feed him anything healthy.
So, when I presented him with a plate full of nachos, he looked at me as if I had fallen off my rocker!
"Are these seriously for me?" he asked...
Shocked, dazed and confused, he attacked his plate as if scared that I would change my mind and take the nachos back!
Little did he know that the nachos were made with my Hint of Lime Tortilla Chips that are ridiculously easy to make as well as healthy.
I simply loaded the tortilla chips with his favourite toppings including ground turkey taco meat, banana peppers, olives and then a light sprinkling of cheese.
As for me, I simply omitted the cheese on part of the nachos and was able to stick to my Whole30, Paleo lifestyle.
And that folks is how to keep your marriage strong and happy!
