Where can you find Whole30 approved ham?
Unfortunately, finding a nitrate-free, sugar-free Whole30 approved ham is not that easy. However, as more and more people seek out healthier ham options, companies are starting to respond.
One such company, Pederson's, sells hams that are made from pork that is humanely raised without the use of antibiotics or growth stimulants and fed no animal by-products. According to their website, their hams are "minimally processed, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients, no added nitrates or nitrites, no gluten, no lactose, no MSG, and no added sweeteners! Paleo-friendly and Whole30 Approved."
