This post is going to be like this Whole30 Cauliflower Rice Patties recipe...quick, easy and right to the point! I think everyone can agree that life can get pretty hectic once in a while. This recipe will come in handy when you need a quick side dish that is not only easy to prepare but also very healthy and customizable.
Now, if you live in an area where you can not find prepackaged riced cauliflower, then this recipe will take you a little longer to make.
Here in the United States, riced cauliflower is as common as grey squirrels.
From Walmart to Target to your everyday grocery store, I have seen frozen riced cauliflower in every grocery store.
If you are unfortunate to not be able to find riced cauliflower, this recipe shows you exactly how to go about creating your own riced cauliflower.
I would suggest doubling the recipe and then dividing the mixture up into freezer bags so you can grab some whenever you need it.
Now, on to the recipe.
How do you make Whole30 Riced Cauliflower Patties
- Use either frozen or fresh riced cauliflower. I always have extra bags in the freezer so I simply pull out a bag in the morning so it is thawed when I start preparing my dinner.
- simply whisk the eggs with the seasoning and flour and add to the riced cauliflower.
- Next, fill the wells of a whoopie pie pan with the cauliflower mixture and press down firmly. If you don't have a whoopie pie pan, simply take a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and form the mixture into patties.
- Next, bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until they start to brown. Let's it! Simple ingredients with simple steps make this a "go-to" recipe in our house!
I make these often and will sometimes add some cheese depending on my mood. The spices can also be modified to suit the flavour of the main meal.
Lastly, one of my favourite ways to eat these is with a dollop of Vegan Creamy Garlic Sauce and a slice of tomato. Absolutely delicious!
Recently, I made these Whole30 Riced Cauliflower Patties and doubled up on the ingredients and did not add any cheese.
