Ingredients
Scale
- 6 medium potatoes, cut into strips (I use a fry cutter to make it easier on myself)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- water
- olive oil
Instructions
- Clean and wash potatoes. Using a sharp knife or a fry cutter, cut potatoes into even strips
- Place potatoes in a large bowl and cover them with water
- Add salt and baking powder to the water and mix
- Let sit at room temperature for 1 or more hours
- Drain water, spray air fryer with olive oil and place fries in fryer. Drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil over fries.
- Fry at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes, shaking pan every 10 minutes
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- Although I have not tried it yet, I am sure you could make these in the oven using the same temperature and time guidelines.
