Making Homemade Sugar-free Vanilla Coffee Syrup is not only super easy and will save you tons of money, but is also eliminates all the unwanted weird additives that are found in commercial keto vanilla coffee syrups. Only 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of time, this sugar-free vanilla coffee syrup recipe will allow you to bring out the barrista within you!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1-1/4 cup allulose (or a combination of sweeteners)
  • 1-3 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp xantham gum
  • Optional - 1-2 pinches of salt

Instructions

  1. Place the allulose and xantham gum in the bottom of a pot. Whisk to incorporate.  Add the water and whisk again.
  2. Heat the saucepan on high heat until it comes to a boil, stirring every so often.  Once it boils, turn the heat down to allow the mixture to simmer for 1 minute.  Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract and stir until fully incorporated.
  3. Taste the sugar-free vanilla coffee syrup and add additional sweetener, vanilla or a pinch or two of salt to suit your taste.
  4. Transfer to a glass jar and allow it to cool before storing it in the fridge.
