Salty and sweet, this avocado crust pear and prosciutto pizza is to die for. Absolutely delicious, keto and gluten-free, who says pizza can't be part of a healthy keto diet.

Ingredients

  • 1 Dairy Free Avocado Pizza Crust (Whole30, Keto, GF)
  • 1 small onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or pizza seasoning)
  • 1/4 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup gorgonzola, crumbled
  • 4 slices of prosciutto, rolled up and sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Make  Avocado Pizza Crust and set aside.  Increase oven temperature to 425 degrees F.
  2. Spray a small skillet well with cooking spray and heat on medium-high heat.  Once the skillet has heated, add onion and stir every so often until onion begins to brown (approximately 10 minutes).  Set aside.
  3. Brush pizza crust with olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning over top.  Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and gorgonzola over the crust.
  4. Add sliced pear, prosciutto and cooked onion to the crust.
  5. Bake pizza 10-15 minutes or until cheese begins to bubble.
  6. Remove from oven and enjoy.

Notes

  • This crust is still good the next day and even after freezing it and reheating it in the toaster oven!
