- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon water
- 5-10 drops food colouring of choice
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, add the water and food colouring. Stir and then add the coconut. Continue to stir until all the coconut has been covered in colour of choice.
- Allow the coconut to FULLY dry (you can spread it out on a paper towel to speed up the drying process) before storing it in an airtight container.
Notes
- make sure that the coconut is FULLY dried before sealing it in a container.
- this recipe makes only 1 colour - feel free to repeat the recipe with as many colours as you desire
