- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger (or 1/4 tsp dried ginger powder)
For the Asian Sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar substitute, packed
- 1/4 tsp xantham gum
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2-4 drops hot pepper sauce
- OPTIONAL - 1-2 tbsp Sesame seeds
Cream Cheese Base:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- OPTIONAL - 2 cups shredded cabbage
Optional Crunchy Topping:
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup edamame, shelled
Instructions
The Day Before:
- In a small bowl with a lid, add all the chicken ingredients together, toss to combine, and seal the container. Place the container in the fridge overnight.
The Day You Want to Serve the Dip:
- In a small saucepan, combine the xanthan gum and brown sugar and toss to combine. Stir in the remaining ingredients and heat on medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Set the sauce to the side.
- Prepare the cream cheese layer by beating the cream cheese with the sour cream with a hand mixer until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the serving dish. Spoon the chicken topping evenly over the cream cheese and then drizzle a ½ cup of the sweet and sour sauce over the top. Add any crunchy toppings, such as sliced almonds and edamame. Serve with some Keto Crackers, sliced peppers, or other sliced vegetables of your choice.
