This homemade Sugar-Free Cream Cheese Frosting takes only 5 minutes to make and uses only 4 ingredients.  Making your own keto cream cheese frosting at home couldn't be easier and is much tastier than the store-bought brands! 

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 cups 1x

Ingredients

  • 8 oz full fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 stick (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (I use Swerve Confectioner)
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add cream cheese and butter.  Beat using a hand-held mixer on high speed for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add in vanilla, sugar and salt and gradully increase hand-held mixer speed to incorporate all ingredients and beat on high for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  3. Place frosting in the fridge to cool slightly to make it easier to use as icing.

Notes

  • You can make any sugar into powdered form by simply placing 1 cup of sugar in a high speed blender.
