Creamy vegan, nut free date paste is the perfect way to add a touch of sweetness to all your Whole30 sauces and condiments.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (10-12oz) packed dates, softened
  • 1/4 -1/2 cup water
  • salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place softened dates in a food processor.  Add 1/4 cup of water and turn on the processor for 1 minutes.  If mixture looks too thick, add more water until desired consistency is reached.

Notes

  • I put extra date paste in ice cube trays and freeze it so that it is readily available.
