These Whole30 30-Minute Ribs came out absolutely delicious.   This recipe is proof that ribs don't have to be cooked "low and slow" in order to be off-the-bone tender.  By using a pressure cooker instead of my traditional Baked Rib recipe, we were able to sit down to an indulgent rib dinner in under 30 minutes.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2-2.5 lbs pork ribs, membrane removed
  • 1/4 cup favourite seasoning blend
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of ribs generously
  2. Place trivet in Instant Pot (or Ninja Foodie) and stand ribs up around the perimeter with the meatier side facing out.
  3. Add 1 cup of water to the pressure cooker
  4. Set on "Hi" for 15 minutes.  Allow to release naturally for 5 minutes and then manually release.
  5. Once ribs have cooked, transfer them to a lined baking sheet and brush them with the BBQ sauce.
  6. Place ribs under the oven broiler on "Hi" for 5 minutes or until starting to brown.
