Instructions
For Baking Ribs in the Oven
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Place ribs on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Season both sides of ribs and tightly wrap foil around ribs.
- Place in oven for 2-2.5 hours or until internal temperature reads 175-185 degrees F. Remove from oven.
- Turn oven to broil.
- Open foil-wrapped ribs and slather ribs in barbecue sauce.
- Return to oven and broil until starting to brown (approximately 5 minutes) Tip - If you want to minimize smoke, use a fresh piece of aluminum foil
For Baking Ribs in an Air Fryer:
- Preheat air fryer to 325 degrees F.
- Divide the ribs into 2 even sections. Place each section of ribs on a sheet of aluminum foil. Season both sides of ribs with spices and tightly wrap foil around each section of ribs.
- Place in air fryer standing up (make sure you remove the air fryer basket) and set the "bake" option for 90 minutes. or until internal temperature reads 165-175 degrees F.
- Remove ribs from air fryer and let sit for 10 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, open one rib package at a time and slather with BBQ sauce. Using aluminum foil to lift the rack of ribs, place the open aluminum foil with 1 rack of ribs in the air fryer, with the BBQ side facing up. Set air fryer to "broil" and broil for 5 -10 minutes. Repeat with second rack of ribs. Tip - If you want to minimize smoke, use a fresh piece of aluminum foil
