Ingredients

  • 4-6 oz boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Sauce

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar substitute
  • 2-4 tbsp hot sauce (depending on how spicy you want your chicken)
  • 2 tsp minced onion or garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Stir together the sauce together in the bottom of the slow cooker.  Turn the slow cooker on high and allow the sauce to come to a boil for 3-5 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken.  As sauce is boiling, salt and pepper the chicken. 
  2. Once sauce has thickened, add the chicken and stir to coat the chicken completely.
  3. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove the chicken and set it to the side.
  4. Bring the liquid from the slow cooker to a boil either in your multi-cooker or transfer it to a small sauce pan. Boil for 8-10 minutes until it reduces by half and thickens. Toss chicken in the sauce or drizzle on top.
