These Keto Creamed Pearl Onions only take minutes to make and only require 4 basic ingredients. This keto side dish is easy enough to make for a busy weeknight but also fancy enough to serve at your next holiday gathering!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz thawed Pearl onions
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Optional - 1/2 cup Parmesan or Blue Cheese

Instructions

  1. Thaw the pearl onions in the fridge overnight.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter.  Add the onions and cook, stirring every so often, until golden brown (about 10 minutes)
  3. If necessargy, deglaze the skillet by adding a little water (sherry or broth) at a time.
  4. Add the heavy cream and reduce until you achieve a smooth consistency. Add cheese and stir until melted, if using.
  5. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
