If you’re craving a dessert-like frosting that’s still wholesome, you’ve got to try this Healthy 2-Ingredient Protein Frosting using Pumpkin. It’s simple, flexible, and surprisingly decadent for only two ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup chocolate whey protein powder
  • Optional: powdered sweetener, black cocoa powder, peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Mix together together the pumpkin and protein powder.  Start with 3/4 cup of protein and keep adding more protein powder until desired thickness is reached.  Add any additional flavourings and stir to incorporate.
  2. Chill briefly if needed; stir before using
