Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar-free ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar substitute
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp yacon syrup (or molasses)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion flakes (or 1/2 tsp onion powder)
  • 1/4 tsp mustard dried
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1.  In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sauce ingredients.  Bring to a boil then reduce heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally until it begins to thicken (10-15 minutes).   If you want a really thick sauce, you can simmer the sauce for up to an hour.
