Easy Keto Candied Walnuts

Candied Walnuts (or any nut for that sake!) are great for salads, baking, snacking, gifting, and more! You only need 4 ingredients and about 5 minutes of hands-on time to make these sugar-free delicious Candied Walnuts! You will be hooked immediately after trying just one bite...crunchy, sweet, and oh so addicting candied nuts!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups walnuts
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar substitute (or a combination of white and brown)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (149°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray; or use a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat egg white and water on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 4-5 minutes. Add the sweetener, cinnamon, and salt, gently folding until combined.
  3. Fold in the nuts and stir to coat completely. Spread nuts over the baking sheet and bake for 35-45 minutes, stirring every 15.
  4. Allow to cool completely and enjoy.  Store nuts at room temperature for a few weeks, covered.

Notes

  • make sure to fully beat the egg white as it will fall slightly when the sweetener is added
  • watch the nuts carefully as they can burn quickly
