I am not sure exactly which cookie you are referring to as your question came through my “contact” form. However, I would suspect that the butter you used the first time may have changed (companies are adding more water to their butter to save money) or that the sweetener you first used has changed formulas. Check both of those and let me know.

I have tried to make this cookie several times now. My first try came out crispy. Every attempt after has come out soft. I used the exact same ingredients with each attempt. I used a scale rather than measuring cups. Every attempt after the first has come out soft instead of crispy. What am I doing wrong?

Whey protein powder helps to give keto baked goods a little extra lift so they end up less dense.
You have a recipe for a high fiber low carb flour mix. I haven't found any recipes that call for this. How do you use it?
Thanks,

You could try Eye of round or top round. I have not tried these cuts so let me know how they turn out! PS - you may want to try a practice run before Christmas just to be sure!

I wanted to try this recipe for Christmas, I cannot find a sirloin tip roast anywhere. Is there another cut that would work. I prefer a roast. Thank you

I use a plugin for the recipe so let me check with the developer to see what is going on. I made this as a copycat Tate's so I would simply add some unsweetened cocoa powder and remove equal amounts from the almond flour.
Let me know how they turn out and I will write a new Chocolate version!

The Keto Crispy Thin Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe is showing the same # of grams of almond flour for 1x, 2x, 3x! Also specifying cups for Metric measure. Confusing. FYI, these are these are the very best Keto cookies ever! Thank you! I'm going to try making them into Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies my favorite Tate's cookie. Any suggestions?

Which candied nuts are you referring to? The 5-minute candied nuts or the oven-baked candied nuts?

I love your keto candied nuts> I have a question though,,,,how do you flip them over to make them come out even. I have tried with a spatula and they come out all stuck together. They are great but look icky.

I am not sure which recipe you are referring to? I typically use allulose for my white sweetener and lakanto golden for my brown sweetener. Hope that helps!
Helen Guin
Thank you for this great recipe! Need to know if you mean Lakanto Golden is best for the brown sweetener only or for all the sweetener? If I need white too do you recommend Lakanto Classic? My first batch is good using Swerve Brown & Granular. But it does have that cooling effect.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I probably made over 200 cookies to finally get this recipe right so I am glad that someone loves them as much as I do!

Why do you use whey in your baked goods?
